Our Employer is seeking an experienced human resources leader to perform full-cycle HR responsibilities across the company. The Head of HR will oversee the delivery of HR services and support to all teams. S/he will work with the leadership staff on initiatives that address strategic needs around Employee Experience, Organizational Development, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits and Compliance. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully partner with the Senior Leadership Team to collaboratively design and implement programs and processes to drive a high-performance organization and culture. The Head of HR will manage vendors as needed in the above areas and will work with internal customers to ensure business objectives are achieved in a fast-moving environment of rapid growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational Development and Employee Relations
- Develop programs to drive a high-performance culture and an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Promote best practices that support the company’s values
- Provide guidance and input on business unit structures, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Coach business leaders on how to build strong teams and drive performance management throughout the year
- Develop and continuously improve the performance review process and develop and implement quarterly OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process
- Identify skills gaps and training needs and work with leadership to implement appropriate opportunities for team and individual development
- Develop and implement best-in-class onboarding program
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues and advise leaders on corrective action
Talent Acquisition
- Improve and direct the hiring process from recruiting through new hire onboarding
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build out pipeline for current and future hiring demands
Total Rewards
- Plan and execute improvements to employee benefits and compensation programs to ensure the company stays competitive in the marketplace
- Facilitate employee benefits and engagement programs (eg, medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.)
HR Operations
- Provide HR policy development, guidance, and interpretation
- Analyze HR trends and metrics in partnership with the leadership team to develop solutions, programs, and policies as the company scales
- Maintain working knowledge of employment law to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement HR process workflow for job status changes, including opening requisitions, requesting promotions and raises, and handling terminations
- Maintain and update HR information system and drive organizational efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years HR experience, with at least 5 years of experience working with senior leaders; experience in technology, consulting, professional services and/or startup company environments is strongly desirable
- Solid business acumen with a proven track record of cross-functional leadership
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing organizational development and performance management programs
- Ability to establish solid relationships with all levels of an organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and ethics
- Bachelor’s Degree required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
