We are hiring!

Seeking a C# Web Developer with strong JavaScript experience; ideally fluent in jQuery. Prior Microsoft experience supporting and building web applications in Visual Studio.  We are a smaller company and hoping someone in this development role would also be able to help with basic IT-related tasks as well as engineering.  The split would be about 35 hours per week engineering; 5 hours or less IT-related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Passionate about software creation and technology in general
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience
• 3+ Years’ experience with C# and Object-Oriented Design
• Web application development with MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery
• Web services (SOAP,WCF, Restful)
• SQL Server development experience
• Ability to create clear concise technical documentation
• Capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems.
• Impeccable communication skills
• Ability to split time and attention across multiple ongoing projects
• Desire and initiative to learn new technologies as deemed applicable

Expected Responsibilities:

• Participation during product design and specification to properly plan and estimate required engineering effort
• Coding web based applications that adhere to customer requirements and technical specifications
• Communicating directly with product managers, quality assurance analysts, team leads,  co-developers, and production support personal in a united effort to satisfy client requests
• Research, resolve and document client escalations, including but not limited to
  • Importing data files
  • Restoring system’s to operation after an outage
  • Correcting bad data
  • Extracting data from customer systems
• Documentation of systems design and implementation including
  • Deployment notes for multiple environments(DEV/QA/UAT/PROD)
  • Technical functionality
• Completing customer enhancement requests
