Our Employer is a thriving, growing group of IT strategists, architects and engineers. We are currently looking to recruit a Cloud Strategist for this team. This role is integral to the success of our high impact projects.

What you’ll do:

• In conjunction with the department leads, you will drive the Go to Market strategy for Cloud Migration & Modernization offerings
• Develop Proof of Concept and large scale Lift and Shift cloud migration programs
• Drive the solutioning process for Cloud Migration opportunities to arrive at a delivery approach including team structure, technical solution concepts, process, and cost proposal
• Support the creation of Scope of Work and other program and project vehicles as needed
• Research newest offerings in the Cloud Migration
• Lead the Selection and Approval when new projects are preparing kickoff
• Provide oversight and leadership of ongoing Cloud Migration and Modernization related programs

What we’re looking for:

• 12+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience with one or more major public cloud providers (AWS or Azure)
• Expertise leading large scale cloud migration programs for Fortune 1000 employers within the banking and/or financial services industries.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container-based technologies
• Experience working with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift and other private cloud abstraction technologies
