Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is currently seeking a Cognos Administrator to support administration, installations, configuration and production support as well as report and modeling development for the Cognos analytic and reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and administer Cognos 10 and new Cognos 11 applications
• Plan and implement upgrades and maintenance releases
• Implement best practice architecture design and recommend improvements
• Implement auditing and usage monitoring of product Cognos application
• Technical report design and development
• Develop technical documentation for environment architecture and processes
• Investigate and resolve issues with systems, reports and log errors
• Production support, troubleshooting and resolving issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Cognos administration experience including Cognos 10 product suite in a multi-server environment including application monitoring and maintenance and upgrades
• 3+ years of in a Data Warehouse/Data Analytics Environment
• Use of Cognos 10 advanced features including Active Reports, Dynamic Cubes and Cube Designer, Report Studio, Workspace Advanced is preferred
• Expertise in the IBM Cognos Analytics product suite
• Has database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, for interfacing with database and database designs
