Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is currently seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support the design and application of computer vision in real-time, high quality broadcast systems. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interacting with engineers, customers and partners to drive engineering requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed vision design specifications for assigned projects
- Perform model training and algorithm development
- Implement knowledge in artificial intelligence design, testing techniques and vision application development
- Specify cameras, optics and lighting for challenging vision applications, including marine submerged environments
- Collaborate in the design of custom optics and lighting solutions for the challenges of vision applications
- Collaborate with clients and scientific advisers to establish next generation tools for inspection, surveillance and reporting
- Mentor more junior engineers
- Travel both domestically/internationally to R&D sites and customer sites
Qualifications:
- Masters in Computer Learning or Machine Vision. PhD desired.
- 4+ years of experience designing Machine Vision Systems (Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, OpenCV, Matrox)
- 4+ years of experience developing software using C++, Python, VB.NET, C# or C++.NET
- Proficient with vision analysis (blob analysis, pattern matching, activity recognition)
- Proficient in computer vision – object detection, recognition and tracking; multiple view geometry, 3D computer vision, 3D geometry reconstruction, scanning
- Proficient of CNN and deep learning environments such as Inception (GoogleNet)
- Knowledge of OpenCV options such as Torch/PyTorch, Tensor Flow and Caffe
- Knowledge of SfM/SLAM
- Vision system development skills (Camera, Lens, Laser and Lighting selection)
- Mulit-image Strobe in motion methodologies a plus
- 2D and 3D Laser Metrology a plus
- Valid Passport is required
