Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively seeking a seasoned Data Applications Developer. This full-time role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team and work directly with the Manager of IT Business Applications. The position is based in Waltham, MA, and requires onsite work 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

The Data Applications Developer will be responsible for:

• Design, Implementation, and Maintenance: Manage Synapse (DW), Data Factory, Data Lake, Foundry, and Storage to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Report and Dashboard Creation: Develop visually appealing, accurate, and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
• SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to efficiently manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain solutions using SQL, ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages for internal applications.
• Data Management Interfaces: Maintain interfaces for data management among applications to ensure data accuracy.
• Requirement Gathering and Solution Building: Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and build solutions for business applications, identifying process improvements.
• EDI Transaction Support: Support and resolve end-user requests for EDI transactions.
• Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Project and Task Management: Demonstrate good project and task management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• 3-4 years of experience with Azure technology stack, including Synapse (DW) & Analytics, Blob Storage, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, Data Analysis, DAX expressions, and report/dashboard development.
• Experience in web application development using any programming language along with SQL or other DBMS experience.
• Strong analytical, systems, and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Azure certifications are a significant plus.
