Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is looking for a client-facing Java Engineer to support the design, development, test and deployment of our client’s JEE-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating design sessions, conduct code and design reviews, partner with external clients for requirements gathering and collaborate with internal Business Analysts to develop technical documentation.

Experience:

• 3+ years of development experience
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, XML, Maven development
• Must be able to provide accurate development time estimates and identify potential time slips
• Product development experience is preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects and communicate status updates as required
• Excellent verbal and written documentation skills with both internal and external customers
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
