Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support a CFO in greater Boston.
Job Purpose:
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be able to own and lead the Company’s financial planning and analysis process, driving annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term business plans infused with finance and business insights, as well as collaborate closely with the Finance Business Partnering team and other key stakeholders to steer business strategy and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Review analytical results, generate insights, and propose recommendations for investments and cost reductions.
- Develop and present monthly financial performance reports.
- Create financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support investment decisions, rate filings, and strategic initiatives.
- Advise data-driven analysis to support the CFO and leadership team.
- Partner with Accounting counterparts within the Controllership to ensure alignment between actual financial results and budget/forecast processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in the financial planning and analysis process while ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.
- Build an inclusive and collaborative team environment by collaborating effectively with leaders and peers within the Global CFO organization.
- Nurture and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of performance management and employee engagement.
- Identify trends in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly focusing on financial metrics such as operating profit, costs, and return on equity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in Finance or Business is highly preferred.
- CPA or equivalent international accounting license preferred (ACCA, CertIFR, DIPIFR)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Finance or leadership roles, including financial management and organizational budgeting.
- Experience in strategic financial planning.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Regulatory and compliance knowledge.
