Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Revenue Management to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering a comprehensive revenue management program that maximizes revenue across multiple senior living communities dispersed throughout the United States. 

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in revenue management within the senior living, multi-family, or hospitality industry and demonstrate a strong understanding of financial metrics, sales strategy, and execution. Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Management Program: Define, develop, and deliver a revenue management program that aligns with company objectives and maximizes revenue opportunities across multiple senior living properties.
  • Dynamic Revenue Planning: Take a flexible approach to revenue planning, adjusting strategies regularly based on market conditions. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly internal and external trends to inform changes in revenue strategies.
  • Pricing/Rate Strategies: Develop and execute pricing and rate strategies that drive revenue while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Rate Governance: Implement rate governance strategies to optimize pricing, occupancy, and revenue per available unit, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing efforts.
  • Revenue Management Tools: Utilize revenue management tools and systems to analyze market demand, monitor competitor pricing, and forecast future revenue trends.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute revenue-driven sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Regular Reviews & Adjustments: Conduct regular reviews of pricing strategies and make necessary adjustments to capitalize on market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance/Financial Planning and Analysis team to provide accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior leadership, highlighting key revenue metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Community Support: Offer insights, tools, and communications to support communities in implementing rate strategies, ensuring consistent application of revenue management standards.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or related roles, preferably within the hotel, multi-family, or senior living industry.
  • Experience working in environments with multiple units.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing revenue management programs that drive rate governance, efficiency, and revenue optimization.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, sales strategy, and execution, with the ability to articulate the role of revenue management in supporting marketing and sales efforts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
