Job Overview

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively seeking a skilled and innovative Director of Solutions Architecture to lead the SAP S4 transformation program for an enterprise level employer. This role requires expertise in SAP architecture, a strategic mindset, and the ability to oversee complex implementation initiatives. This position provides the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technology future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design authority for the SAP Central Finance/S4 migration program, ensuring architectural decisions align with the organization’s business objectives, technical standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the selected System Integrator (SI) to drive the technical implementation, maintaining alignment while critically evaluating and validating design choices in the company’s best interests.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a comprehensive program architecture team, fostering professional development and maintaining high-performance standards.
  • Serve as the primary architecture liaison for senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment, providing governance, and delivering guidance throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate architectural risks, manage dependencies, and adapt to necessary changes to ensure the success of the program.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive program architecture documentation, effectively communicating technical concepts and program objectives to key stakeholders.
  • Guide and oversee the implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring the SAP transformation meets program deliverables and operational goals.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture processes, tools, and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Maintain a strong focus on governance by embedding security, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies into the program design.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business operations, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a relevant field; advanced certifications in SAP architecture are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Proven expertise in SAP S4 implementation programs, with a strong track record of delivering complex and large-scale solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP S4 architecture, design, and integration principles, as well as familiarity with the latest trends and innovations in the SAP ecosystem.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, influence decision-making, and foster collaboration across organizational levels.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems, prioritize tasks, and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
