Job Summary:

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking a skilled .Net Software Engineer with experience in full-stack development, specifically with a strong background in back-end .NET development, database work (Oracle), and front-end React JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development best practices, as well as a passion for building high-quality applications that meet user needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies
• Work collaboratively with the team to create high-quality software and ensure that the codebase is maintainable and scalable
• Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and queries in Oracle
• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React JavaScript
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies
• Experience with database development in Oracle
• Experience with front-end development using React JavaScript
• Must be proficient in Entity Framework
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be local to the greater Boston area and able to work onsite in the Andover area 1x/a week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with full-stack development
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular or Vue.js

Note:  This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The successful candidate will work closely with our CTO and CDO who are presently the client enterprise architect and data architect respectively.
