IT Support Professional

Salary $50-70K

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is currently seeking an IT Support professional for our New York, NY client.  The ideal candidate will provide operations support to the highest level of customers and technical support for their business.


  • Operational support – Candidate will provide the highest level customer service and technical support for our Business, fielding incoming requests via our ITSM provider Service-Now
  • Develop, configure and maintain desktop systems to oversee the deployment, imaging, asset management and security of desktop environment.  Configuration of mobile devices, printers, headsets and card scanners
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to improve performance, reliability and manageability of the Windows platform
  • Vendor Management – manages vendor relationships for those vendors specific to the NYC office, ensures PEP and vendor(s) remain within contract provisions
  • Personnel Management – responsible for managing and mentoring all NY based IT interns


  • Experience with Microsoft OS (Windows 7/10) Microsoft Office Suites (2013/2016 Office 365) is required
  • Peripheral equipment support (Konica printers & Copiers)
  • HP hardware support
  • Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting (iPhone &iPads)
  • Email and network connectivity troubleshooting (outlook and Cisco VPN)
  • Strong understanding of fundamental Windows technologies, including: Active Directory, group policy, Windows Debugger, Process Monitor, Windows Performance Toolkit
  • Strong understanding of imaging technologies, including Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, SysPrep, Windows PE and Druva enterprise backup technology
  • Understanding of Microsoft Configuration Manger, knowledge of application deployment, patch management operating system deployment and client and server maintenance
  • Experience with enterprise security product, such as  anti-virus, SSO,  data-loss prevention and encryption software
  • Ability to provide high level support of all IT networking and communications hardware for the entire corporation. Develop and document procedures for routine operations including troubleshooting, support, and administration.
  • Perform system upgrades and incorporate new technologies to the infrastructure minimizing effects on the user experience – working nights and weekends as necessary. Maintain system / network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor
  • Actively assist and participate in the implementation of systems, infrastructure and related network and communications hardware for the enterprise
  • Intermediate abilities and expertise in support of Cisco switches, routers, access devices, and related communications protocols, especially TCPIP and WAN communications
  • 3-5 years of equivalent related work experience
  • Bachelor Degree and/or technical certification a plus
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts, ITIL Foundation Certification a plus
