Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting is currently seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer for our growing Charlotte based client.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Lead role ensuring high reliability and resilience of the infrastructure while remaining cost conscious and effective.

Responsibilities:

• Scale up and down Docker container fleets
• Backup system creation and maintenance and strategies for quick restoration as necessary
• Manage and direct code deployments and first line of defense for production defects
• Automate processes to ensure coding deployment is seamless
• Collaborate with Lead Architect to support automation goals
• Repeatability of infrastructure to lower the “bus factor”
• Documentation of work efforts

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role
• 1+ years of experience in a Lead role
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS native, Elastic beanstalk
• Experience with Terraform is preferred
• Strong documentation skills
