Job Overview:
Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking a dedicated, motivated, and diligent Network Administrator to join our team.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and support of all information and communication systems for the company. This is a full-time position and will require you to work from our office, located in Manchester, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the company’s information systems, which include servers, active directory, Microsoft 365, ERP and CRM systems, network infrastructure devices such as firewalls and routers, virtual private networks, desktop computers, remote and laptop computers, printers, and other peripherals.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and optimal performance of the information systems by implementing appropriate measures such as updates, patches, backups, antivirus and endpoint protection, penetration testing, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Keep users’ security rights updated by conducting permission changes and audits in Active Directory and other software applications.
- Monitor and maintain the computer network to ensure it functions optimally by performing regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades as required.
- Provide support in managing and optimizing the configuration and installation of workstation and laptop computers, including patch updates and hardware replacements.
- Provide standard and approved software support and maintenance for computers throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all employees for the company’s computer hardware and software.
Qualifications:
- A technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 1-3 years of experience in server management are required.
- Strong technical expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Server, SQL Server, TCP/IP, Virtual Private Networks, and telecom technologies is necessary.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills are essential.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining ITSM and ITAM systems is an advantage.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server +, CompTIA Security +, and MCSA are preferred.
- Must be able to work after hours occasionally for system maintenance.
