Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is currently seeking a .NET core Consultant to assist with a long term REMOTE contract.

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of .NET development experience
• Modern .NET Core development (using C sharp, Entity framework and SQL server)
• Web API and service interface design
• Build and deployment
• Application performance optimization
• Application development practices, including Test-Driven Development   

Project Overview:

Client seeks to re-imagine its tax exemption certificate management platform solution. The next generation platform will include migration from full .NET 4.6.2 to .NET Core to allow containerization, and will move to take advantage of multi-tenancy. The resulting solution will be the client’s first SaaS product and will be a model for modernization and infusion of a new DNA for other applications.

The product codebase is currently built in full .NET, and it is desired to leverage the advances made in .NET Core to allow more flexible deployment options, in particular containerization.
