Job Overview:

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively seeking a Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join a dynamic team in the senior living industry. This role will oversee fiscal and reporting functions, utilizing operational and financial management techniques to drive strategic decisions. Additionally, the Senior Director will play a crucial role in leveraging information technology to support and monitor senior living operations strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key finance business partner to the leadership team, conducting high-impact analyses of business results and identifying trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with functional budget owners and advising the management team.
  • Partner across the organization to develop comprehensive analyses supporting critical strategic decision-making.
  • Provide real-time financial transparency to operations leadership through cost analysis, revenue forecasting, and labor management programs.
  • Conduct monthly re-forecasting and identify gaps in annual budget targets.
  • Assist operations and collaborate with Information Technology to develop business intelligence data sets for real-time analysis of senior living operations.
  • Ensure the availability of reporting capabilities to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
  • Continuously enhance FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and value-added contribution.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Directly supervise the FP&A team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Recruit and retain talent aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Foster collaborative teams and lead by example, establishing clear goals and expectations that advance organizational objectives.
  • Provide constructive feedback to reinforce positive behaviors and redirect team members as needed.
  • Facilitate open dialogue with team members regarding growth and development opportunities to maximize their potential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Financial Management, Business Acumen, and Communication.
  • Ethical conduct, Leadership skills, and Performance Management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with Strategic Thinking skills.
  • Understanding of core financial and operations systems such as Workday, DOMO, OnShift, Salesforce, and PointClickCare.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in multi-unit senior living operations preferred.
