Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is hiring a dynamic Social Media Manager to join a global marketing team.

This role is crucial in enhancing our marketing and communications efforts targeted at bioanalytical customers within the life sciences industry. This full-time position demands a professional adept at driving engagement and building a brand presence online.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Marketing team and internal stakeholders to identify social media needs and priorities. Manage the master social media editorial calendar in coordination with various departments (PR, Commercial, HR/Talent Acquisition, etc.), and external agencies.
- Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement unique social media marketing plans and programs to attract and acquire customers. Analyze data and consult with internal and external sources to create new market approaches.
- Brand Representation: Communicate the corporate image and products through social media networks and tools. Monitor and manage the company’s online communities, responding to inquiries, complaints, and comments.
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, and microblogs. Utilize design tools like Canva or Adobe to create high-engagement content and atomize long-form content into smaller pieces for distribution across multiple platforms.
- Influencer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with social network influencers to generate marketing opportunities and drive favorable coverage.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze social media activities and performance metrics to make strategic recommendations. Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets, using tools like Sprout Social or HubSpot.
- Employee Amplification: Oversee strategy and create content for employee amplification. Manage social communications for the CEO and other internal leaders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in marketing and/or life sciences for candidates with a bachelor’s degree, or three (3) years for candidates with a master’s degree.
- Proficiency: Expertise in driving engagement on social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Company Website, etc.), and familiarity with marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Sprout, or similar). Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize social media performance.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present views clearly and compellingly. Proficient in content design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) and capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO/CMO, or similar organization is a plus. Understanding of the bioanalytical lab testing or biological sciences space is preferred.
