Devonshire Recruitment & Consulting Partners is actively seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the supply chain operations for a dynamic manufacturing organization. This position plays a critical role in establishing efficient material flow, driving business transformation, and ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management, demand planning, and lean methodologies, with a proven track record in leadership and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct procurement, logistics, inventory management, production scheduling, and demand planning activities.
• Lead initiatives to improve supply chain processes, including implementing pull systems, Kanban, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and address performance issues to meet operational standards.
• Monitor and regulate inventory levels to support production while minimizing costs.
• Oversee ERP system utilization for demand planning, capacity scheduling, and material management.
• Develop and maintain reports for key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production schedules align with customer requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Train and develop supply chain staff to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee the contract review process for current and new products.

Must-Have  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and capacity planning.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, data analysis).
• Lean manufacturing experience, including Kanban, Heijunka, and pull systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in handling complex, multi-level bills of materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS Certification.
• Experience in warehousing and international logistics.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP systems.
• Background in medical device manufacturing or similar industries.
• Master scheduling experience.
