Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Systems and DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team focused on building, deploying, and supporting innovative applications for internal and client use. This role emphasizes infrastructure automation, application deployment, and system support for various cutting-edge tools and platforms, including those developed with AI and advanced analytics technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support internal development and analytics teams by managing and maintaining various platforms and tools.
• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure systems for internal and client applications, ensuring robust performance and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, systems, and environments.
• Assist with building, deploying, and testing proof-of-concept (POC) environments and applications.

Sample Projects and Tasks:

• Collaborate with developers in selecting and testing frameworks to deploy an AI-powered chatbot.
• Convert internal Python-based tools into containerized microservices and deploy them using cloud or internal infrastructure.
• Upgrade existing ArcGIS Enterprise deployments to new versions.
• Rapidly build and secure new servers for hosting proof-of-concept tools.
• Troubleshoot authentication issues in single-sign-on systems for internal applications.

Required Capabilities:

• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Proficient with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with both Linux and Windows administration, including scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative development best practices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, network segmentation, and security.
• 3-5 years (this means you have served in a similar capacity/job duty for this length of time)

Desired Capabilities:

• Knowledge of software testing practices and tools.
• Experience managing Windows server environments (Active Directory) and Microsoft 365 services.
• Familiarity with Azure AI technologies and platforms like Cognitive Search, Copilot, and ML Flow.
• Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL) and data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift.
• Exposure to analytics tools (Databricks) and GIS platforms like ArcGIS.
• Understanding of network and application security best practices, including PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
