You will work as part of a newly created IT compliance team. We expect the analyst to be passionate about automating systems, monitor, and integrate compliance-developed workflows and operations within legal, operations, marketing, and trading groups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s prefered) in Business, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems or related field is required.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a business/systems analyst position dealing with regulatory/compliance financial products and financial markets is required.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills are required.
• Must have a rigorous insistence on detail, analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Familiarity with Charles River Development or Sentinel (or comparable compliance system)
• Strong expertise developing automated tests and test driven development
• Knowledge of Python or C#
• Prior project management methodologies with six sigma, PMP, or Scrummaster

Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and analyze regulatory information as it pertains to finance, legal, client operations, and marketing.
• Follow established procedures to convert regulatory information into logical pieces required for integration to our application
• Create automated workflows, observe investment guidelines, develop and testing compliance rules, develop pre & post trade compliance alerts, and assist business members in resolving issues related to client guidelines and/or regulatory restrictions in alignment with US or foreign regulatory agencies
• Analyze business requirements and suggest enhancements to stored procedures in TSQL for SQL Server databases or in C#, Python, or JavaScript in application layer
• Evaluate data collected through task analysis, review of business and legal documentation, and review of business processes
• Document the results of all analysis, and transform this information into tech-consumable form using internal and external tools
• Analyze data requirements facing our clients, translate these requirements into specifications, and define data flows.
• Expand existing data schemas to implement financial calculation logic, define changes to source data templates, provide business user perspective, and deliver additional insights that improve our solutions
• Engage in research and vendor selection when a 3rd party tool is needed
• Create and manage automated Regression Test suits for various components
• Prepare UAT for user-facing applications and facilitate business users verifying the changes
• Partner with technical writer to create documentation related to new features and calculations
