Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is currently seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Systems to provide strategic direction and tactical management of Enterprise Applications, IT Help Desk and Facilities departments. The ideal candidate will develop and implement technology that enables and accelerations connectivity and productivity. Innovation is key! This leader must have a strong technical background, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and build partnerships with other department leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Set and drive a strategic vision for the technologies used to power our business.
  • Deliver impactful results against that vision while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Lead the digital transformation of corporate applications and collaboration tools.
  • Lead by example, care for your teams, and establish credibility with the quality and consistency of execution.
  • Meet delivery dates and manage budgets appropriately.
  • Build a state-of-the-art service desk function that can serve as a proving ground for innovation testing for all customer service functions.
  • Build and motivate a team of highly skilled, action oriented, focused, and results-driven players.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and customer service within and around the technology organization.
  • Assist CIO and IT executives in aligning their IT plans and architecture with business strategies and imperatives.
  • Ensure continuity of business operations, by gathering and incorporating IT asset management including licensing renewals, upgrades, end of life replacement, etc. to incorporate into IT forecasting and planning.
  • Partner across the organization to ensure the planning, forecasting, and formal intake of comprehensive services and solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Proactively partner with the CIO and the business to provide consulting, solutions options, and recommendations around technology, standards, strategies and governance.
  • Drive and implement change, continuous improvement, and staff development including the next line of IT leaders.
  • Implement data-driven continuous improvement processes across organization, infrastructure, and applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent working experience.
  • 15+ years of IT experience with proven leadership capability, preferably in multiple organizations
  • 8+ years of working directly with Executive management.
  • Experience with highly automated practices across Enterprise Applications and IT is preferred.
  • Experience with public cloud including Office 365 migrations is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills is required. Verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.
  • Significant experience working on all levels of enterprise IT architecture. While leadership is the primary focus, the ability to set and understand technical direction is required.

  • A proven ability to work through conflict, build trust, and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels
