Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is seeking a Hands on Technical Cyber Solution Presales Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, result driven Presales professional, with a proven success track record selling technical cyber and security solutions throughout the US. You will be a key technical contributor that closely accompanies the client from early presales stage to post sale.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be expected to work closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business
  • Hands on with customers from capturing and understanding customer’s requirements to design a complete solution and deliver to the highest customer’s satisfaction
  • Ability to interact with customers to identify requirements and implementation the solution to meet their requirements
  • Ability to technically troubleshoot enterprise networks to isolate a problem and resolve it
  • Travel up to 50% within North America

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands–on experience as a Solution/Field/Sales Engineer or PreSales Engineer including enterprise software installations
  • Demonstrated experience in: Cybersecurity enterprise solutions, IP networks and routers configurations
  • Hands on experience installing, configuring and demoing cybersecurity solutions
  • Experienced with architecture and implementation of enterprise networks
  • Deep knowledge and hands on experience in networking – primarily layer 2, 3 & 4
  • Hands on experience with setup and administration of Linux systems and virtual environments (e.g. VMware ESXi)
  • Experience of working in a startup – an advantage
  • Team player with good communication skills, positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • MCSE and CCNE certifications is a plus
