Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is currently seeking a Director of DevOps for our local San Diego-based client.  The ideal candidate will have experience developing a DevOps process and collaborate with our client’s development, production and operations teams.  You will also be responsible for building out cloud initiatives, deployment needs and supporting their SQL Server enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience working and leading in DevOps role
• Experience building out development operations in previous enterprise environments
• Strong process and methodology development experience and understanding Lean Engineering, Agile, Scrum and DevOps
• Experience with multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, Azure and/or AWS
• Strong back end data knowledge using SQL Server, DocumentDB, MongoDB
• Development environment knowledge using C#, Node.JS, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, Python and/or Ruby
• Frameworks: .NET, ASP.Net MVC, AngularJS, Bootstrap, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Flow, Log4Net
• Tools knowledge includes: Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Release Manager, MSBuild, Git
