Job Overview

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively looking for an Integration Project Manager who will be accountable for effectively managing the integration, planning, organization, and implementation of all major acquisitions in the science and diagnostics areas. In addition, this role is responsible for driving coordinated execution to deliver on strategic business objectives via partnerships with the business unit’s Senior Leadership Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting business leaders with the overall people planning, execution, and success of integrating newly acquired businesses into the business unit.
  • Overseeing the development of program/project plans, KPIs and metrics (including status reporting), prioritization calls & project communications.
  • Managing and supporting program management, integration, and change management with fast-paced execution.
  • Ensuring the completion of risk assessments and the identification & execution of contingency plans.
  • Developing and managing detailed development sprints, identifying early warning indicators, providing direction for early resolution of risks, and issues, and clear escalation path for all stakeholders.
  • Partnering with multiple stakeholders in a complex matrix organization.
  • Building sustainable strategic relationships with key business stakeholders to align HR solutions with business strategies and priorities in driving business success.
  • Establishing and monitoring division organization dashboard to identify potential issues, anticipate trends, and proactively drive solutions through functional expertise.
  • Establishing clear expectations and accountabilities with all project team members and stakeholders.
  • Serving as an advocate to continually drive behaviors and process improvement while enhancing the quality of delivery by creating key KPIs and SLAs.
  • Removing impediments to team progress either directly or through others.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners in order to ensure best practices and bringing the outside world into the business unit.
  • Providing steady leadership in order to meet aggressive project deadlines common to rapid growth through acquisitions.
  • Demonstrating strong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities along with a strong track record of successful execution of projects.
  • Influencing, advising, and managing a large number of cross-functional teams/players across multiple levels of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is required. Masters Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive professional experience and/or business acquisition management experience in a growing market and 5+ years of experience managing large-scale global projects preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of global and local policies and practices and understanding of their application in solving business needs and ability to provide guidance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective in building relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Planning and follow-up with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage and work within ambiguity and prioritize business needs and resources.
  • Experience managing change and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Action Planning, Analyze Alternatives and Recommend Solutions, Analyze Current State, Business Case Contribution, Customer Focused Approach, Data Collection, and Analysis, Define Future State, In-Depth Questioning, Planning and Organizing, Policy and Procedures.

Additional skills and abilities:

  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams working across several time zones.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Must be self-motivated, dedicated and have the ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Travel: The Integration Project Manager will be required to travel up to one-third of the time for this role.
