Devonshire Recruiting and Consulting Partners is currently seeking a Seasoned JavaScript Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Our client requires talent that enjoys and skilled in creating sophisticated user interfaces. Must be able to build natural user interfaces to create highly interactive experiences for both web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with HTML5, JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap CSS, RESTAngular, Node, Mongoose, MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PhotoShop Document Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, AngularJS, Node.js, and Mongo
• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• Architect scalable web architectures
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code
• Write code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience of creating complex HTML/CSS web and mobile solutions with knowledge of latest standards and best practices
• 2+ years of JavaScript experience and creating AngularJS based solutions
• 1+ years with Node.js and Express
• Experience using asynchronous RESTful services (JSON)
• Solid Understanding of HTTP protocol and how server-side code is processed on the client
• Some experience with Photoshop or Sketch is a plus (creating sprites, optimizing, cutting or adjusting images)
• Working knowledge of front end optimization and performance techniques\
• Ability to provide portfolio of work
