Job Overview​​

Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is actively seeking a dedicated individual to join an Employer as a Support/Production Engineer. The successful candidate will address incoming issues and requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution based on standard Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role involves maintaining strong client relationships on a daily basis. Responsibilities include developing web content, managing web portals, and handling client support inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the product manager (PM) and engineering team on major product and project development initiatives.
  • Attain expert-level knowledge of product features and functionality.
  • Assume the role of an “internal client” to evaluate product functionality and maintainability, including reviewing and approving product specifications and system test plans.
  • Develop expertise in setting up, administering, and maintaining all business unit products, particularly systems-level Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management Systems (CMS), and Compliance products.
  • Ensure system specifications are up to date on the Wiki or client drive as the project evolves, including the addition of new reports or features.
  • Populate the system with content.
  • Perform ongoing system maintenance.
  • Create user documentation for system administrative features and provide training for client administrative personnel when necessary.
  • Assist with system testing and client deployment.
  • Generate and publish multimedia presentations and static content for client usage on Pinpoint systems, utilizing various authoring tools.
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve issues, either individually or in collaboration with team members.
  • Develop prototypes and mock-ups.
  • Pursue continuous education to enhance job-related skill sets, such as CSS/HTML development, introduction to SQL databases, advanced Adobe courses, and basic JavaScript.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Photoshop/Fireworks is advantageous.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software.
  • Proficient in organization and time management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
