The Client is looking for a Research Manager to be part of the global Research and Knowledge Management team. The Research Manager is accountable for a wide range of research tasks and KPI tracking. This role involves team leadership and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of research requests from consulting staff which may include intake, output, and metrics measurement
  • Operate with a variety of databases to provide information and data for client projects and business development
  • Coordinate a regional team of research analysts
  • Partner with members of the global Research and Knowledge Management team to promote department best practices within the consulting staff
  • Continuous evaluation of information and data needs specific to North America and presentation of new information sources

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a related field (information science, library science, information management)
  • 3+ years of experience in similar functions within a consulting or professional services firm
  • Proactive, flexible, comfortable working autonomously yet appreciating collaboration
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – able to interact with employees at all levels and all functions of the company
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Powerful organizational and execution skills
