Our Client is taking data analytics to the next level and helping the healthcare industry solve some of its most complex challenges. Their team has built a next-level analytics platform that direclty helps to provide insights that enhance global health, quality of care, and cost management.

You should feel energized working in a fast-paced learning environment with other seasoned veterens in software space and working with data sets that at times can range up to 12TB. In this environment, everyone is consdiered a team player and valued as someone who can avoid overly bureaucratic processes and quickly find ways to solving the larger issues.

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build a the next-generationg health analytics SaaS (Software as a Service) that that allows both Analyst and Researchers to process hundreds of millions of records via our intuitive online platform.

You will be a pivotal contributor within the Engineering team and will be able to

  • Design, build, and maintain a highly scalable web analytics platform
  • Ensure that the platform meets both the business and industry requirements for privacy and security.
  • Write queries/jobs/functions to feed and augment the data pipeline
  • Recommend improvements as it relates to data reliability, efficiency and quality
  • Integrate the latest technologies and software engineering tools into an existing platform
  • Assist the client support team with analytics and software inquiries as they arise

Minimum qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related technical/science field
  • 3+ years of development experience with Java, Ruby, Node.js, and/or JavaScript
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a Linux environment
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS)
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (SSH, DNS, TCP, etc.)
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred qualifications (1+ years)

  • 3+ years of experience working tools like Git, vim, and tmux
  • Intermediate-advanced SQL (NoSQL experience a plus, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra)
  • Economics, statistics, or math or background
  • Eager to learn new software languages and technologies
