Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners seeks an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative team. This role focuses on designing, administering, and managing critical processes that enhance compensation and goal reporting, facilitate compensation payouts, and support strategic planning activities tied to compensation plans. The ideal candidate will contribute to integrating new initiatives and ensure alignment with reporting processes across multiple sales organizations, becoming a valuable team member of the Sales Operation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales management, operations, and fulfillment teams to review and analyze data, ensuring accurate crediting for sales transactions.
- Oversee and execute monthly and quarterly changes to sales compensation plans.
- Manage deal registration and commission deviation processes efficiently.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to research, resolve, and mitigate compensation disputes while implementing new processes to avoid recurring issues.
- Handle escalations, inquiries, and error resolution to support sales teams effectively.
- Administer the sales compensation structure using Salesforce Advanced Territory Manager 2.0.
- Act as the primary consultant for field leadership by addressing reporting needs and responding to ad hoc requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales compensation planning or sales operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating reports, dashboards, pivot tables, and using lookup functions.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce; familiarity with Salesforce’s Advanced Territory Manager 2.0 is a plus.
- Strong ability to meet or exceed reporting deadlines consistently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to collaborate across all functions.
- Proven skills in relationship management, including partnering, consulting, and conflict resolution.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to drive change management and ensure effective integration across processes.
- Collaborative skills to align compensation processes, reporting, and execution across teams.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
Note: This position is 100% onsite – 5 days/week.
