Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking a Senior Consultant to join an Analytics Innovation team in NYC. This hybrid role provides an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to lead workstreams and oversee teams solving complex analytical challenges for clients in the telecommunications and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage entire workstreams, overseeing Data Analysts and Data Engineers in solving complex analytical problems.
• Lead client meetings, foster relationships, and formulate hypotheses to address strategic questions.
• Oversee data preparation, data model building, and results visualization to connect insights with client objectives.
• Build and maintain master databases/data warehouses by consolidating disparate data sources.
• Conduct quality audits to identify and address potential data quality issues while overseeing teamwork products.
• Create and present slide decks that effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field plus one (1) year of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or a related field plus three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in leading data projects
• Advanced experience working with SQL, R and/or Python for complex modeling and analyses.
• Strong proficiency in preparing data for statistical or machine learning models.
• Proven ability to run ETLs on data warehouses, including AWS Redshift, Presto, Hive, Big Query, or Teradata, as well as traditional relational databases (MSQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle SQL), and using Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or similar systems.
• Experience exporting data to Excel and publishing results to BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Looker, or Power BI.
• Proficiency with any flavor of GIS for geospatial analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and present them effectively.
