Devonshire Recruiting & Consulting Partners is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will help to develop and expand our client’s user interface efforts. Must have strong client-side development of web applications, understand how to use technology to provide compelling user experiences and be excited and informed about new visualization technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Build fast and easy to use web application for a complicated environment with a diverse user population
• Architect reusable front-end components and abstractions, evolving the design system
• Use understanding of UX best practices to collaborate with Product management and Designers on defining product workflows and interfaces, ensuring they are executable from a development and budget standpoint
• Manage projects/tasks in an Agile Scrum environment
• Ensure project work is on-time and on-budget without sacrificing quality
• Passionately research digital design trend and best practices as well as emerging technology and leverage findings on a day-to-day basis
• Articulate reasons behind important design decisions, give and take constructive feedback
• Be confident and proud of your/companies work, both internally and externally, and be willing to do whatever it takes attitude to get the job done

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience
• Strong understanding of common design patters, e.g. MVC, MVP, singleton, factory, API gateway, etc.
• Languages: HTML 5, CSS 3, ES 5/6, Typescript
• Client side: Angular 2+, WebGL, Responsive Design
• Server Side: NodeJS, Express, GraphQL, Rest/OpenAPI/Swagger, Web Sockets
• Automated Testing: Regression, Component, Unit, System, Robot Framework
• Environment: Familiarity with Grunt/Gulp/Webpack, NPM, Linting, Git, CI/CD, etc.
• Performance Optimization for CSS, JS, images, asset caching
• Attention to detail and great communication skills are a must
• Experience with Motion Design, 3D and VR is a plus
