Hiring a Service Technician to provide instrument service support for our analytical products. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience with chromatography instruments to work in a technical setting and support our customers and field employees!

Position Summary:
The technician in this position is responsible for a wide variety of service related to GC support functions including, but not limited to, the repair, maintenance, and performance of IQ/OQ/PT of assigned analytical products. The analytical products are to include owned demo equipment, instruments returned from customers and customer owned products.

This technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance and installation of assigned analytical products.

Additional Job Functions:

1. Providing repair and maintenance support on GC analytical products.
2. Accurate documentation and reporting of all repairs and product failures and when applicable providing design change and improvement recommendations.
3. Assist in the development of preventative maintenance procedures for assigned products.
4. Work closely with and under the direction of more senior service personnel in an effort to obtain the necessary skills required for a future service assignment.
5. Providing customers and field personnel with necessary telephone technical support, repair parts shipments and documentation required to effect instrument repairs, maintenance, and installations.
6. Limited travel to support assigned products
7. Provide in-house bench repair support for assigned analytical products.
