Job Description
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team. The Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team plays an integral role in achieving the company’s mission with a focus on data-driven decisions and operational excellence. As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you are a trusted advisor with the expertise to consult with the business and develop and execute their talent and attraction strategies along with proactively understanding future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the life-cycle internal recruitment process (including creating and posting job requisitions, screening resumes, conducting phone and in-person interviews, checking references, negotiating salaries, and developing relationships with the current staff).
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to include knowledge of market dynamics, talent availability, and competitive compensation requirements
- Identify opportunities for improving candidates’ experience and recruitment process efficiency.
- Screen, test, interview, and select qualified job applicants to meet the agency’s staffing needs and organizational demands in compliance with all Federal, State, and City laws, rules, and regulations including but not limited to NYS Department of Health and Department of Labor.
- Partner with the team managers to understand our business plans, workforce planning strategies, and staffing needs in order to provide quality candidates and top-notch customer service.
- Implement targeted sourcing and marketing techniques to identify relevant candidate pools including but not limited to: writing job advertisements, attending candidate networking events, and utilizing databases, social media, and other online search platforms.
- Report indicators and performance within the Talent Acquisition team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of related experience in Recruiting/HR Positions.
- Strong knowledge of staffing, labor relations, training, and staff retention is preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, environment with competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be proactive and be able to multi-task a high volume of positions, candidates, and requisitions.
- Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
